Pulled me ol' writin' hands outta the shed today. Covered in dust, they is.
Truthfully I've put pretty much every writing project I've ever started on the backburner the past few years.
The exhaustion from my job coupled with the anxiety of moving was a big factor, but the biggest is still imposter syndrome.
Everyone I show my writings to are [mostly] rather smart people who give rather smart criticisms, where approriate.
I take those criticisms to heart and, after each revision, they tell me that I should publish, that what I write is amazing,
and other such niceties to the point I get so paranoid that they're just humoring me that I do the exact opposite
and never let my stories see the light of day.

For now, they'll stay that way. But I've decided to start a story with the sole purpose of at least publishing it.
The negative feelings are already there, but I've got this.

KryptOS was a CSS design scheme I strove for in the old versions of my site. As you can tell, I still enjoy the "alternative OS" aesthetic, but I got bored constantly using the same vaporwave colors and styles and just settled for a 2-bit look.

Versions 1 & 2 are just the first [cringy] versions of the Krypt, from when I was first learning HTML. It seemed logical to put them here with the other iterations. Boy, what a pain it was to try to keep my original garbo code intact while trying to get the pages to work again.

Decided to make an inconvenient list of media that made me sad. Me, a stereotypical manly-man composed of salt and spite and out of touch with his emotions, breaking down into a blubbering mess and usually contemplating existence for a few days afterwards.

A coming-of-age manga that's all sorts of raw and fucked up. Rape, child abuse, domestic abuse, and a whole lotta utterly garbo humans. Will simultaneously make you feel like offing yourself and getting your shit together. I felt truly disgusted with myself and everyone around me for days after reading. Some people thought the climax was a bit much, but I think it's great. Well, not great, shit was wack yo, but I feel it was the perfect shitty cherry on top to a story about the unluckiest dude in existence. 09/10 masterpiece of art and storytelling.
